Boys Brigade
Dunbar Boys Brigade is open to any male young person aged from 8 to 18 years, of any faith and background. We seek to make a positive contribution to the lives of the young people by providing a wide range of activities. We design our programmes to ensure that every child and young person has the opportunity to learn new skills and develop existing skills.
Junior Section (meets on a Thursday in Dunbar Parish Church hall) is for boys in primary four to primary six. This age group has its own programme called 'Juniors' based on five areas:
Company Section (meets on a Friday in Dunbar Parish Church hall) is for boys and young men from primary seven to sixth year. This age group has it's own programme called ‘Discover’ based on three areas:
In Dunbar, we also give boys who are 14 years or older in the current academic year the opportunity to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
