Our minister,
|
The Reverend Gordon Stevenson lives with his family, in Dunbar. Gordon was called to Dunbar in 2010. 'During this time, our church has seen God at work in many different ways; lives transformed, people called into full time ministry etc. We believe that we are a family learning and serving Jesus together so that we might discover God's vision for the church and share it with everyone'.

Who is Rev Fred Harrison?

Gordon, our minister, is currently on leave so we would like to welcome Rev. Fred Harrison and his family to our church. If you need to contact him please go to contact
A note from Rev. Fred Harrison I would like to introduce myself, Rev Fred Harrison, to you. That said a good number may remember my face from my time as a student minister when I had the honour of covering for Gordon on a number of occasions. My wife Joyce and I live in Gorebridge. We have a daughter and her husband along with their children in Dunbar and another daughter, her husband and their daughter living in Bonnyrigg. Recognising that "only God is good" , as the Lord was quick to point out, I don't believe in a blame culture, I get things wrong frequently and can never remember folks names, but rather prefer to live in a culture of grace as demonstrated by our Father in Heaven. I look forward to serving our Lord, your Minister Gordon, yourselves and those in the rest of our parish. May God bless and keep you all. Regards Fred |
