Prayer at DPC
Prayer is essential to the life of our Church. It was essential for Jesus in his ministry and for the life of the early church and continues to be the fuel of the engine that is our church and congregational life. Our prayer ministry is central to our weekly worship. We are committed to seeking God's will and His grace for all situations in our church, and among His people, both locally and further afield.

This week, please pray for:
- young people at school, college and university - many are anxious, frightened or worried about the future;
- young people who are Christians just starting at college and university;
- teaching staff and school management preparing classes and managing the young people's learning;
- support staff who care for the children and young people's physical, social and emotional needs;
- parents who have concerns about their children and young people at school, college and university; and
- those who usually visit schools to provide additional services, but cannot access the buildings at this time. Pray that they may be creative in the work that they do.
- all those who work to keep us healthy in our local community i.e. medical centre, dental practices, residential homes, Belhaven Community Hospital, optometrist, chiropodist and sports therapy
- our local shops and eating places in these challenging times
- those working from the harbour, including the RNLI crew.
